Mathilde Parent Lagesse studied Law at Université Paris II – Assas. She holds a Certificat d’Aptitude a la Profession d’Avocat (CAPA), et has furthered her education at the Ecole de Formation au Barreau de Paris (EFB).In 2018, she qualified as an arbitration lawyer from the MCCI Arbitration and Mediation Center (Mauritius).
Mathilde is the founding partner of PLCJ Ltd and has held positions as collaborator with Cotty Vivant Marchisio & Lauzeral (Paris) and Bird & Bird (Paris). She founded PLCJ Ltd in 2007.
Mathilde regularly intervenes as Lecturer at the Universite Paris II Assas, and now regularly intervenes as Lecturer at the Institute for Judicial and Legal Studies (IJLS) in Mauritius. In 2016-2017 she held the position of vice-president of the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie France Maurice (CCIFM). Since 2011, Mathilde has been a member of APM Trochetia (Association pour le Progres du Management). the Institute for Judicial and Legal Studies (IJLS Mauritius).
